

Black Belt in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu & Judo, specialist in Muay-Thai kickboxing, Kyokushin Karate, and former No Hold Barred Fighter.
Eduardo Mori grew up in Brazil where fighting is an everyday occurrence. At age six he started training Kyokushin Karate after doing this for several years he felt confidant in his schooling however after becoming aware of the effectiveness of Jiu-Jitsu he quickly got involved and by the age of thirteen, he began training in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu. After training Jiu-Jitsu for five years in Brazil, he went to Japan and received training in Judo and Muay-Thai. With dedication toward Judo, Eduardo received his black belt and is now at the third degree level.
Eventually, he came back to Brazil and continued to train in Jiu-Jitsu & Muay-Thai with other strong fighters such as Vitor Belfort; former UFC Champion, and Paulo Filho; Pride FC competitor three times world Jiu-Jitsu champion. He participated with the Carlson Gracie team to prefect his skills. Through dedication after ten years of training Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, Eduardo earned his black belt. Eduardo went back to Japan where he opened up the first Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu Academy in the country. He fought in several No Hold Barred matches in Japan, including Pancreas, Submission Art Wrestling (SAW) Fights, and several Muay-Thai and Kyokushin Karate tournaments. With continual success he decided to try some fights in America and in 1999 Eduardo moved to Chicago where he fought in the Extreme Fighting Competition. Achieving a record of 9-0 in NHB, he decided to devote his career to training fighters.
Eduardo has been living in Utah for the past six years teaching and training fighters.
He has continued to go back to Brazil to perfect his skills with some of the best fighters in the world. With 17 years experience Eduardo has devoted himself to the art of Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu. With his background and familiarity in the “no- rules” setting, Eduardo has been able to train outstanding fighters for Jiu-Jitsu/Grappling competition and No Hold Barred fighting.
Currently, Eduardo is the owner of the Mori Academy of Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu in Sunset, Utah with over 150 students.
